Lake Winds Golf Course is a the local public city Golf Course.  This Course offers the golfer competitive rates and a bevy of birdie opportunities.  This par 70, 18-hole, old fashioned course with its circular greens makes chipping and putting challenging. Golfers would be hard-pressed to beat the "playability" of one of the best public courses in the area.

Alabama's Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail is the largest Golf Course construction project ever attempted. The Trail is a collection of 468 holes of championship golf on 11 different sites across Alabama. The Wall Street Journal said the Trail "may be the biggest bargain in the country" and The New York Times called the Trail "some of the best public golf on Earth." Alexander City is proud to be geographically located in the center of all eleven courses, with five being within one hour’s drive: Capitol Hill, Grand National, Oxmoor Valley, Ross Bridge and Silver Lakes.

Hatchett Creek Golf Course  is a nine-hole, par 35, Public Course. There are two extra greens and extra tees, which make the back nine appear different from the front nine. There are a number of hills to make the back nine more difficult. Club house with snacks and beverages, driving range, putting green.

StillWaters Resort and Golf Course is a challenging par 72, 18-hole Public Course. This picturesque Course includes elevated tees and breathtaking views. Practice and lesson tees, putting and chipping greens, two practice bunkers, practice fairway bunker and target greens. Pro shop, restaurant and cart storage.
