Arts and Culture take center stage in Alexander City, because cultivating the arts is a key component for every successful community.  The arts remind us that we have the capability to create, to be imaginative and inventive, at any age.  Alexander City and the Lake Martin area have long had this creative spirit.  Community theatre, live shows, instrumental and vocal performances, and many mediums of art instruction, all have their place and home here. Many of the exhibits, events and festivals that Alexander City hosts are centered around the arts.  Jazz Fest, the Library Art Show, Art Colony exhibits, and the Horizons lecture series are just a few community favorites.
