Alex City Arts

The Alexander City Arts Council, organized in 1978, is a very active group, sponsoring many cultural events each year for the Lake Martin area.  The group presents a season of community entertainment, affords citizens the opportunity to hear professional orchestras, watch musicals and enjoy plays. Recent performances included the music duo, Banks and Shane, Mark Twain at Large, Elizabeth von Trapp and the world famous Vienna Boys’ Choir.

The  Alexander City Arts Council makes available discounted or free admission to local students in hopes of providing them with a well-rounded education incorporating the creative aspect of the arts.
